The digital characters can be hard to read in poor lighting without activation of illumination. Otherwise it is often mistaken for a much more expensive watch.Easy to read date, time, and multi functions r very easy to access and change instantly. Colors of the watches r amazing as well.I like that it's a great made product for the price.All functions work as describe. The digital portion is a negative LCD display. This makes it hard to read unless the watch is exposed to bright light like a lamp or the sun. You can use the back light to see the face if no light source is available. The display also has two decorative items on the digital display. One is a globe which blinks every second. The other is a cross which is supposed to look like the inside of a jet turbine (like the steel Casio watch). This blinks on and off every second. As the watch is a quartz it is reasonably accurate. The analog hands can be seen in low light and also has lume for the dark. The watch band is average. The water resistance is only good for washing your hands and rain and possibly a quick dunk in the sink at three ATMS. I think this watch is a good value for the $20 I paid. The watch may not be for you if you are expecting something like a Casio G-shock, but it does resemble a G-shock's looks. However, it is not as good as a Casio in terms of water resistance and shock resistance. In summary it does look like a G-shock and offers some shock resistance.I LOVE ITYou get more than what you paid for. You will be pleased with this purchase. Looks better on than in this picture. Provides you the basics with good look.I love it, for the price it is worth it. But there are better options like a g shock watch.
